HochweilBstein Hutte to Pichl Hutte
July 19, 2008 I left the HochweilBstein Hutte at 7:00a and headed out across grassy knolls on trail 403 for a short distance to Giogo Veranis (2011m – 6598ft). From there the trail descended down into the Val Fleons to an intersection with trail 140. I continued along trail 140-403 to a road at the bottom of the valley and followed it for a short distance to a farm at C. ra Fleons di sotto (1575m – 5167ft) (8:05a). From here trail 403 left the valley floor and began a traverse across the hillside to the farm at C. ra Sissanis and then rose gently to the Sella Sissanis (1987m – 6519ft) (9:30a).
